ABOUT TOWSON MEN'S CLUB LACROSSE
Towson University Tigers men's lacrosse club competes in the National Collegiate Lacrosse League (NCLL) in the highest division; men's division 1. The Tigers also compete in the Chesapeake Conference for league play against, Navy, Salisbury, Maryland, Delaware, and Loyola. A highly competitive club that strives to win a National Championship year in and year out.
The team practices two to three times per week in the evenings at various times and participates in a highly competitive schedule. The club aims to play twenty to thirty games each year including fall and spring semesters.
The more competitive springs season runs from the first week in February through the first weekend in May. There are two to three overnight, out of state road trips per season, in which the cost for the bus or a flight, and hotel are covered by the club.
No tryouts are held and no cuts are made however, based on numbers, travel rosters will be announced to limit the expense of some road trips.
Towson has been to the National Tournament multiple times.
In 2016, Towson fell to Navy 11-7 in the National Championship! In
2017, Towson Won the NCLL National Championship. Beating Pen state 9-8.
